The timber-clad room, with the teal upholstered wall behind the bed

Hospitality

Boutique hotel at the Passo delle Radici

The project

The restyling of a historic hotel at the Passo delle Radici, turned into a boutique hotel with a wellness area and a sky lounge.

The rooms are clad in timber on every face — walls, ceiling, floor — and the headboard becomes a teal upholstered wall: the one accent that breaks the continuity of the wood, and for that reason the one you remember.

In the bathrooms the mountain’s stone comes in, in contrast with the warmth of the slats. In one of them the cladding is a weave of coloured tiles, bringing a different energy into the room.

The character of the place lies entirely in the choice of finishes rather than in its form: few materials, used in full.
